Girls Eastern State Championships - Individuals
Recap: Karrie Baloga was the star of the field in a relaxed year at Manhattan, winning the merge by over 20 seconds. She's now won at every level at Manhattan, from freshman to varsity letter, and now Easterns. Her time stands as No. 21 all-time, and serves as a good entrance to the latter half of the season, where she'll come head-to-head with more talent from upstate. Behind her, rising star Zariel Macchia put in her best effort to date, taking home second as only a freshman. She's now the ninth fastest freshman ever on the course, already the seventh-grade record holder.
