Headline: Two All-Time Indoor Athletes within reach of the Outdoor State Records.
Breakdown: Two All-Time greats will not be able to ride out the rest of their breakthrough Seasons. Both were known quantities already, as Racey set the Indoor Frosh Record back in 2018 and Pasqualetti came away with the upset State Title as a Junior. However, 2020 has been different for both. Pasqualetti blasted past the NY State Record, to land US #4 All-Time with a 14-3. Racey was likewise on fire, clearing 16-6, which would tie the 3rd best jump ever Indoors by a New Yorker.
Outdoors, their chances improve. Racey's mark equals the NY-2 All-Time Outdoors, and is just shy of that State Record at 16-8.75. Likewise, the Girls Outdoor State Record is 14-2, a mark Pasqualetti has already surpassed. Two athletes who could have further etched their names in History, hopes dashed.
