Tucker Jakobe | 11 | 6 | 68 | 145 |

Outlook: Reigning champ Saranac Lake has to love its position this year with a clean sweep of juniors back for a title defense in their home section at Plattsburgh. James Catania, Peter Fogarty, Micah McCulley, Andrew Fogarty, and Tucker Jakobe should keep pushing up the level of the top 5. A small school rivalry with an also fairly young Class D champ Beaver River could be brewing.

Outlook: The Bulldogs tied their best ever finish at States last year and return four of their top 6 for 2019. Some work needs to be done at the back to move Irvington up at States, but Ryan Flangan and Alex Bjorgvinsson are back from top-30 States finishes and will be a strong base to build around.

Outlook: The Panthers have been hanging around near the top at States the last couple years, and they may have the depth to get up for the silver this year. Sophomore Austin Burkard leads a Newfane team that has six of the top 7 back but will need to replace last year's #2 guy, Robert Stevenson.

Outlook:
The Panthers were not at full strength when they finished 4th in S1-C last year. With States medalist Aidan Lynch and the top 4 runners back from last year, Pleasantville should be in the hunt for its fifth Sectionals title in eight years.
Springville (Griffins)
Section 6
States Teams:
States Individuals (Top 10 finishers): Dave Carlstrom (1954, B-10th, Chad Maloy (2010, B-1st)

Outlook: The Griffins were ranked among the top teams early last season but then had injuries and fell back to 6th in S6-C. If the team is healthy in 2019 behind frontrunners Brett Russell and Jared Hecht, Springville should contend with Newfane for its first ever Sectional title.

Outlook:
The Tigers have not won a Sectionals title in seven years but may be building a team that can contend in S1-C. Brothers Noah and Caleb Brightman will be joining senior Alex Petruso in Pawling's bid for their first win since the States championship season in 2012..

Outlook: There are a lot of questions about what could be happening for Watkins Glen this year, but one thing for sure is that Gabe Planty will be the favorite for the individual States title in his senior year. We'll just have to see who will be filling out the Senecas' lineup this year.
