#1 - World Record 300m
Our friends over at MileSplit National spent some time breaking this race down (check it out here), but we just have to reinforce how good this mark is. Jada Kenner (Tapestry Charter) may be the first 7th Grader to ever win a State Title, and she did it in a Sprint Event. While we've have distance standouts like Katelyn Tuohy and Mary Cain, none had an Individual State Title on their resume at 12 years old. The mark of 39.24 is so good, that it broke the World Age Group Record for 12-year-olds by almost a full second. Not only that, it challenge's the 13-year-old Record, which was run outdoors by Olympic Medalist and British National Record Holder Dina Asher-Smith. The future is bright for this one.
