The Purple Wave Foundation has just announced a cash award of $1000 for the first finisher under 4:00 in the open mile to be run immediatley after the Fast Times Track Classic on Monday, June 1st. The meet is held on the "Tim St. Lawrence Speedway" track at Warwick Valley High School in Warwick, NY. The entry fee is $25.00 and entitles you to all you can eat at the award winning concession stand. The field will be limited to the top 12 -14 who can verify that they have run under 4:10.
