In it's third year of existence, the Staten Island Ocean Breeze Track and Field Facility has already become deeply ingrained into the New York running scene. It's hosted National Class Record, State Championships, and World Class Talent. The facility serves as the warm up area for the New York City Marathon, where just this past fall, Shalane Flanagan became the first American Woman to win in her lifetime.
With so much history in such a short period of time, we still need to reflect on some of the marks that have been set at the iconic facility. We took the State Events, and looked back at the Top 10 Marks run at those distances in the facilities' existence. The #1 slot in all these lists' stands as the facility record, and should always be the target when you step on the line. How many will go down this season? Study up, and dig in!
