 44th McQuaid Invitational- Rochester, NY
The 44th McQuaid Jesuit Invitational in Rochester, NY will take place this weekend and bring together team from New York, Pennslyvania, Ohio, and Virginia. Additionally, over 30 teams from Canada will make the trip south over the border.
25 races will be run starting at 8:50am and going until after 4:30pm. For the first time Yen Timing will have full, complete, computerized scoring so results will be available Saturday night.
Girls US#2 Fayetteville-Manlius will once again be competing in this race and they are expected to have the full squad on the line for the first time this season. Also toeing the line in this race will be Burnt Hills Balston Lake, who are ranked US#3. That's right - head to head - we get to see two of the best teams in the country square off in Rochester, NY. This new meet in it's 2nd year has attracted teams from all over the northeast. MA, CT, and RI are represented well and 16 NY schools will be making the trip as well a few NJew Jersy teams and even a team from Virginia. There are three races - DI, DII, and a seeded championshops section. The meet is well organized and presented very professionally.
Emily Lipari will be racing. Lipari was 6th at Footlocker Nationals last fall. Greenwich makes it's season debut after some of their athletes missed time in the spring as well.

Don Bosco Prep, NJ races in NY for the 2nd straright weekend. They are ranked #1 in the NXN Northeast Region as they returned 6 of their 7 runners from last years squad that was 10th at NTN.
Top girls team in the host school, currently a "bubble team" in ArmoryTrack.com's NYS Top Ten, though they are ranked nationally right now in Marc Bloom's "The Harrier". About 35 schools will be attending this year. TEAMS ATTENDING HERE
