State of the Action: One year after a valiant attempt to close the gap on Noah Affolder at States, Nathan Lawler ran much like the now transferred runner. He lead the pack through the first mile, then pulled away from any danger. Paul Dellinger, fellow Section V'er, went with, but couldn't handle the blistering pace. Lawler crossed the line ten seconds under the prior course record, winning the first individual title Pittsford-Mendon had ever achieved. Although the record would only last until the Class A race, the first title in school history will last forever.
