Boys Class B - Individuals
Breakdown: The Class B conversation seems to be dominated by Western New York, and Section 5 will be putting up the top contenders. But there is some uncertainty in the field. Ian Russ beat the two athletes seeded ahead of him at the McQuaid Invitational, and has since stayed away from the elevated competition. Since then, Nathan Lawler and Paul Dellinger have faced off against each other numerous times, with Lawler taking the win more times than not. It's hard to predict if Russ will hold up to Lawler's elevated fitness, but it's also hard to count him out. The dark horse would be Matt Fusco, who took fourth overall at the Pre-State Invite, only behind the favorites for the Class A State title.
