Well, the Manhattan Invitational is finally in the books. The races have been run, the trophies been won. But we were wondering, how did MileSplit NY's predictions do against the actual results? Who were the biggest movers and shakers in the rankings? In essence, how accurate were the Speed Rating predictions?
Well, we break it down for you race by race. The easiest effort is to take the top few runners, and see if those were the names and faces we predicted. We have the full scorecard below.
Note: We didn't include the Fayetteville-Manlius girls in our scoring, simply because they defy speed rating predictions. Therefore, they are impossible to predict accurately against other runners. More can be read about this here. Also, we didn't include runners who didn't actually run the race, because we couldn't predict that either.
