One inch short, and Rayvon Grey is still in pursuit of the elusive State Record set by Bob Beamon. Grey met up with the man himself this past week,
in preparation for two more shots at the record. If the weather
doesn't cooperate on one of the days, there is always the other on
backup. Depending how Grey fairs, there are plenty who will be looking
to take over if there is a repeat of the Indoor State Meet. There,
Grey's teammate Terrel Davis held off Infinite Tucker for the Title, and both are back outdoors. Anthony Roderick won't be around for the Fed Final, but the D2 title seems well within his wheelhouse. | |||||
