NYC Ivy League Championships
The Collegiate School ran away with the boys title and the Dalton School won its first ever girls title at the Ivy League Championship track meet on Saturday. Jonathan Meminger won the 100 and 200 and Dylan Trotzuk took the 800 and 3200 for Collegiate, which scored 167 points. Marisa Kefalidis won the 100 hurdles, shot put, and triple jump for Dalton, which scored 178 points. Dalton had finished in second place 12 of the last 13 years. MEET RESULTS
PSAL and CHSAA: Monsignor Farrell by ONE POINT over Fordham Prep in a NY CHSAA Sectional Championship barn burner which went down to the last event! Farrell's Mike Scarpa wins the javelin with a toss of 175-0 over St. Peter's Patrick Sluder 174-11 with over 500 spectators, athletes and coaches making their way down to the javelin field. Fordham Prep's Mike Jenning 3200 & 1600 and Jourdan White HJ & TJ are double gold medalists and meet MVP's.
