Can you say loaded? Consider this the preview for Millrose, as Aidan Tooker and Conor Lundy get another crack at each other before they enter as the favorites for the Millrose Mile (that is, unless Drew Hunter accepts an invite). They both are well under 4:10 for the full mile, and in the NY Top 5 All-Time for that distance. The 1000m, however, is 3 laps shorter, and you bring out the best in the strength sprinters. Most notable is Jake Johnson, who is not someone you want to lineup next to on the 4x800m anchor leg. Brandon McGorty has the right genes for the 1000m as well, as his brothers have left their names in the annals of Armory history. Jaxson Hoey used his kick to surge past Lundy at the Millrose Trials, and will play into the outcome of the race here as well.
