Two seasons in a row, she was the state leader heading into the state meet, and two years running, she had finished just one inch shy of the top of the podium. 2015 looked to be the toughest of them all, after an injury prevented her from beginning her training until late January. But it proved to be the motivating factor, as Penny repeated her own season best, to come away with her first state title. |
