Summary: |
Collegiate has one of its strongest teams ever and is far out in front in the AIS, and frontrunner Marco Pompilj is one of the top 5 runners in the state. So there is again little drama in the AIS race for the top spots, but the battle between Trinity, Hackley, Riverdale, Poly Prep, and Dalton for the next places will provide some heat here. |

Summary: |
Hackley has built a top-level team this year that should have the depth to withstand the challenge from a rising Poly Prep team. But the contest for the top individual runner is looking exciting after some big jumps from last year for the contenders, as reigning champ Carolina Beroutsos of Nightingale-Bamford, Poly Prep's Ella Ketchum, Paris Calcignini of the Convent of the Sacred Heart, and Hackley's Julia Stevenson all look capable of running off with the crown. |
