State of the Action: Fayetteville-Manlius tends to rebound well, no?  After a disappointing finish at McQuaid, there was improvement across the board to win the Eastern States title which has eluded them the previous two years.  Shenendehowa served as an interesting comparison point, as they ran as well as, or better, than they performed at McQuaid, where they had finished mere points behind FM.  Splitting the two New York teams was the previously undefeated La Salle Academy team of Rhode Island, whose two front runners finished well as individuals as well.  A fun fact hearkening back to legends of old, in each of FM's 7 races, they have had a different top 2 finishing order, defining the meaning of lead girl interchangeability.
