Perry's Pitch:

In a reversal from many past seasons, Fayetteville-Manlius is putting up huge numbers early in the season with huge depth, and the lead over Liiverpool has widened to almost 10 points. St. Anthony's looks to be resuming control in NYC area, and Shenendehowa and Ithaca have placed themselves well out in front in Sections 2 and 4.

Kyle's Comments:

An interesting turnout in the States largest Class.  Last year, six teams had averages over 170.  This year, only two are over that same mark.  However, Fayetteville-Manlius has raised the bar, putting in an average higher than any team managed last year, at any point in the season.  Liverpool is strong in their own right, putting in low numbers at meets without their Section 3 rival in attendance.  Four of the top five teams here will be in the same race at McQuaid, and we will get to see how big the numbers gap is, outside the speculation.
