NEW THIS YEAR - BOATHOUSE JACKETS TO THE 4 WINNING TEAMS!

It had been thirteen years since Somers HS hosted a XC race until we constructed new trails in the summer of 2001. Join us for the 12th Annual Big Red Invitational. Run your Varsity and JV squads together so you can figure out who your top seven are. The course is a beautiful, 5000m course, with some challenging hills and is entirely on trails and grass. Come check out one of The Hudson Valley?s premier XC courses.
Divisions by school size. All schools with a NYS BEDS # over 800 are Division I, below 800 are division II.
All Entry done online. After you have entered "Print Confirmation", submit that to your business office, and mail us the entry OR bring it with you on meet day. We MUST have your hard copy entry on meet day for you to pick up your packet.
$5.00 per athlete entered. Max Entry is $250.00 for a school.
Course is much improved this year as we have widened all the trails, installed erosion barriers, added some wood chips in the wet spots, and make a few small adjustments. Its a challenging course that runs fast at the same time.

All athletes not in their team's top 7 will count toward JV. You do not have to clarify who is JV and Varsity. In the girls freshman race, 3 girls will score as a team, with 5 displacing. All other races will score the standard way.
