Boys Throws
Last year Gary Moore Jr won both the shot put and discus and finished 4th in the javelin, but this year he came into the Open top ranked and top seeded in all three events. Naturally he nailed down the javelin this year first thing and then went on to win the shot put and the discus, missing his own meet record in the discus by just 9 inches. Joshua Mooney could not stick around for the javelin finals as he had to run off to the 110H finals. It was the right call as he took gold in hurdles and only silver medalist Jack Freyler moved ahead of him in javelin finals' action.
