Girls Throws
Leah Moore's shot put-discus double was half of the story here, and the other half was dismantling of the state record in the javelin by Weston's Shea Greene. Moore won the shot by more than 3 1/2 feet, and the Hillhouse senior outdistanced Windsor Locks' Tristin Oberg by more than 4 1/2 feet in the discus. Greene won the javelin by more than 22 feet.
