Girls Hurdles
Mariella Schweitzer was the name of the game in the hurdles as the Joel Barlow junior first dominated the field in the 100H and then came back to equal the meet and state record in the 300H and win by more than a second.
6th seeded Erin Daugherty of Ridgefield got a huge PR to take the silver in the 100H, and 2nd seeded Brylee Montanari of East Hampton claimed the bronze, and freshman Caden Simpson of Jonathan Law was 4th. The 400H followed the seed lines as the top four lowered their times by ample margins as East Hampton's Jessica Starr was 2nd, Wilbur Cross's Nyia White took 3rd, and Windsor's Shani Smith got 4th.
