Sprints
Hillhouse's sprint guys were a major force in their team victory as Ralphael Hawkins took the 55m - 300m double and Talib McBride captured the 600m and took 2nd in the 300m. Both guys were on Hillhouse's 4x400m squad with yet another Academic champ, shot put winner Gary Moore, Jr. Jared Russo of Notre Dame won the 55m hurdles after taking 13th last year.
Distance
Three juniors ran to victories in the distance events, as Wilton's Davis Cote won the 1K, Hand's Dante Zucconi won the 1600m, and Bristol Central's Nate DeAngelo took the 3200m.
Field
Wilby junior Messiah Harling was the lone field champ back from last year, and jumped more than a half foot further this time to repeat in the long jump. Hillhouse's William Kirkpatrick won the high jump, Notre Dame's Max Bothwell took the pole vault, and Hillhouse's Gary Moore Jr. edged Xavier's Davon Colon for the shot put win and that added a leg in his team's 4x400m win at the end of the meet.
Relays
The relay wins were split among four teams as Hand won the 4x200m, Hillhouse took the 4x400m, Bristol Central got the 4x800m, and Simsbury captured the SMR.
