Kate Hedlund took 3rd in the 3200m last year, but this year she opted for the 1600m, and she is top ranked and seeded after winning an exciting battle with second ranked and seeded Jenna Zydanowicz in the LL race. Kali Holden was not far back in the LL race, and both L champ Chloe Scrimgeour and S champ Liv DiStefano posted nice times in comfortable wins that show that they could also challenge at the top here.
