Last year it was Wilbur Cross's Travis Martin cruising to a comfortable win, and this year Avon's Jack Martin is the favorite after holding off the Tolland duo of Alec Sauter and Killian McNamee in the M race. Following the M trio are an LL race trio that includes winner Morgan Fierro, Azaan Dawson, and Tyler Remigino. Dawson is the only returner from last year's medalists, as he was 4th there. Last year there were six scratches and just one section, and anything could happen here in what may well turn out to be a tactical race, especially if some of L race guys like winner Dante Zucconi decide to focus their resources here.
Record Hunt: There are definitely guys in CT this year who have shown they can get down in Willie Ahearn's territory from 2008, but they will not be in this race.
