Brien McMahon's Korey Morton (6.52), Rodia's Shelton teammate Jason Lorent (6.54), New Britain's Baijeon Bookal (6.55) and Fairfield Prep's Darren Blount (6.55) will help insure that the finals are run in a very loud setting.

Last year the favorite Simon Jupp of Ridgefield elected to focus on his battle with Malcolm Going in the 600m and skipped the 300m, but this year he is tops in the seedings with a 34.73 from a 2nd at Yale. Wilbur Cross's 2019 silver medalist Caleb Owen is at 34.98 from a 3rd at Yale, and Danbury's Jaden Cazorla also got his top mark of 35.18 at Yale's fast track. Also looking to be up there are SCC champ Jason Lorent (35.47) of Shelton, Hamden's Christopher Pigatt (35.96), and Glastonbury's William Remkiewicz (36.00).
