Tossback Tuesday: Aisling Cuffe's Senior Year XC Journal

You may know Aisling Cuffe as the professional runner for Saucony out of New England.  Or maybe you know her as the three-time Pac-12 Champion from Stanford.  But before that, Cuffe was a breakout star at Cornwall High School, in Section 9.

We've seen Cuffe's name pop up quite a few times recently. She held the course records at Bowdoin, Sunken Meadow, Bear Mountain, and broke 14mins at Manhattan, all before Tuohy had entered Middle School.  She was the highest Speed Rated New Yorker of All-Time at 170, and competed at the 2011 World Cross Country Championships.

Back in 2010, Cuffe took us on her journey through her senior year XC, one that would culminate in a Foot Locker National Title.  We've resurfaced these XC Journal's so you can see what it was like.  The recruitment process, the feeling of big meets, and the buildup to one of the best Foot Locker marks of All-Time.  Check out everything below, as well as a Workout Wednesday (below) produced by FloTrack before the big race.
