This race last year was the first real taste of what Katelyn Tuohy would go on to do the ensuing year, and her return to the event should be just as exciting. However, she'll be running on tired legs with the 3000m the day before, a double that slowed Chmiel down (she's not doing the double this year), and could make Tuohy vulnerable. Lily Flynn has been on Tuohy's heels for much of the shorter distance events this year, and is more than capable of making the jump. The field see's plenty of girls in that same range, as Katherine Lee is also a known quantity a few seeds back. Flynn will also be dealing with a double, so it should slow her down some too, but this could get very fast, very quickly. | |||||
