Why: The Sophomore State Record Holder was stepping in the circle against some of the best throwers ever. Still, Monique Hardy was unfazed, tossing a strong mark in her second attempt, with a 54-10. Not satisfied, Hardy continued to launch the Weight into the final, with a foul on her 5th attempt, and then a monster on her sixth, pushing her mark out to 55-00.75. Not bad for a Sophomore, seven feet ahead of the next girls in her grade.
