Girls Recap
Despite the conditions, sophomore Maggie Maier still managed to put down the 7th fastest winning time in Intersectional history. It was also the closest individual race since 2012, with 2nd place only five seconds back, led by Sierra Dinneen. Maier becomes the first individual to win from Sacred Heart since Claire Quaderer did so three years straight in the early '90s.

Team
Although it was a hard act to follow from 2016, where Notre Dame Academy hit the second lowest point total of all time at Intersectionals with 25 points, NDA managed to once again capture the team title definitively. Like a year ago, they placed all five of their scorers within the Top Ten in the race. It was a tight battle behind them, but nobody was going to catch NDA.
