Why: Merrell boasts PRs of 1:51.56 for 800m and 4:13.0 for 1600m, and owns six 1A state titles (three at 800m, two at 1600m, and one at 3200m). He improved his 5K PR to 15:29.0 this XC season and should make an immediate impact for Baylor's distance squad.
