Regional Powers Converge On NXN-Qualifying Course - Bowdoin Classic Meet Preview

Boys Varsity 2

Top Individuals - Pat Craemer (St. John's) - 189, Will Hare (Princeton) - 185, Acasio Pinheiro (Princeton) - 180, Donovan Tucker (Niskayuna) - 179

Top Teams - Princeton 174, Niskayuna 169, Saint John's 168, Smithtown 165,  Mount 152

Breakdown: We'll see a strong battle here with two teams that placed well in the merge at Manhattan last year.  Saint John's won the merge from a Letter Race, while Princeton took second in Easterns.  Princeton returns the stronger team however, aided by the return of Acasio Pinheiro, announced earlier this week.  Equally impressive will be the individual battle, as some of the highest rated athletes are all entered here.  Craemer is capable of leading the race, while Hare is coming off breaking a Rosa course record at a recent NJ dual meet, and could make a big jump in the standings.
