Boys High Jump
It was a big day from the senior of Suffolk. Dan Claxton of Smithtown East took home the High Jump National Title at 7-0.75. It may have been one inch short of his personal best, but it was his perfect clearance ratio that garnered him the win. He had made every height on the first attempt heading to the ultimate clearance, which gave him the tie-breaking win when neither him nor Nate Patterson could clear the next height. Jyles Etienne of Stony Brook took fourth.
