Kelsey Chmiel is going to put Jessica Lawson to the test in a race she has won every year she has entered, only missing the title her sophomore year to injury. Lawson was prepared to race Kaitlyn Neal last year, who was aiming for the same 9:18 that Chmiel has, so it's no different than 2016. But then there is Katherine Lee, who had beaten both of them back at Bowdoin in the fall. She comes in at 9:36, but is ready for a major jump.
