Newburgh reaffirmed their Penn Relays mark of 3:15 in the 4x400m with a win at their State Qualifier in an equal mark. They now lead a Huntington team that set the State Record last year, but lost a leg to injury, and another to graduation. Interestingly, half of Huntington's relay pool is in 8th Grade, showing that the reload is coming in the years to come. With five more teams under 3:20, this will be a very fast final. Malverne leads the D2 competition at 3:24, and it will be close to see if they get in the fast heat. | |||||
