Eastern Division 2 Girls' Mile
We all know what happens at championship-type meets. Even though athletes may be entered in multiple events it doesn't necessarily mean on meet day they'll be competing in all those events with last-minute scratches common ground. If our top three seeds toe the line together and are relatively fresh, expect a very fast time by the time they cross the line. Among the field are the talented sophomore trio of Wellesley's Margaret Donahue, Natick's Grace Connolly and Concord-Carlisle's Sarah Reichheld. Connolly owns the fastest of the bunch with her all-time best of 4:52.28 from the indoor nationals this past winter. Donahue has done 4:59 and Reichheld has a best of 5:01. We're certainly figuring a mid 4:50 time might win this race.
