Girls Mile

State of the Action

You know the field is loaded up when the Penn Relays Mile Champion, Leya Salis, is only seeded 6th going into the race. At that same meet, Katelyn Tuohy split 4:50.73 to give her team the DMR win, while Kelsey Chmiel split 4:49.97 in the same race.  Both are entered.  Katherine Lee was busy going US #6 in the 3000m that day, but has indicated her fitness is ready to be competitive.  Caroline Timm and Anna Kostarellis went 2-3 at Indoor Nationals in the mile, and are both looking to improve those standings. Grace Connolly took 9th at Foot Locker Nationals this fall, and has been competitive ever since.  Plenty of talent in the field, looking to make a big splash on the national rankings.
