Here we go again. Last year, South Shore ended the season as NY #1 with their incredible 40.90 at the State Meet. Hackley was NY #2 at 41.59. Both teams are back with a good amount of the same legs, ready to duke it out for that State Leader. South Shore anchor Ramone Newland is nursing a hamstring injury sustained at Indoor Nationals, but they will need him to compete with a strong Hackley crew. Sprint powers Uniondale and Newburgh will most likely round out the final, and we will most likely see a preview of what's to come at the Spring State Meet in the event.
