Breakdown: This one will be quick. In the seeded heat, you have US #4 over Terrance Laird (21.31) against US #6 over 300m Ramone Newland (34.24) and US #8 Amir Brock (34.47). The top three times in the country all came from the National Record run at the VA Showcase, while the only other sub-34sec mark in the event came from Kyree Johnson. There are eight guys looking to join that exclusive club, and it's hard to count anyone out. However, Terrance Laird is having a great mid-season, and has to be considered the favorite.

Breakdown: Rodney Agyare-May and Tyler Gleen were US #1 and US #2 in the event for 2016. Agyare-May made it to 11th on the All-Time list with his 1:18.94, and will be chasing the meet record, which also happens to be the National Record. These two have a big gap on the rest of the field, but it will be interesting at the top.
