It's triple duty for distance standout Katherine Lee (Shoreham-Wading River). She's entered in the Mile, the 2-Mile, and the 4xMile. Chances are likely she'll narrow that down closer to the event, but wherever she goes, expect it to be fast. She's already clocked an impressive 3000m mark this season, so the 2-Mile seems like the logical choice. The Long Island record is 10:19.91, held by Diana Vizza of North Shore, good for NY #5 All-Time. Not a bad target to shoot for.
Fellow Long Islander Brianna O'Brien (Wheatley) will be challenging her in the field, as well as PA standout MaryGrace Rittler (Cheltenham).
