Could we see a national record on Sunday? At the Hispanic Games, Lauren Harris (Sachem East) went US #2 All-Time in the event, clocking 6:30.30. The Indoor National Record is held by Lisa Kutzing at 6:28.20, which also serves as the State Record. Harris has already claimed the Indoor and Outdoor National Records for the mile, so the 1500m is the only thing left out-of-grasp at the moment. That could all change this weekend.
