Other States hop into the mix when the sprints go double the distance. Chief among them is Paris Peoples (Benjamin Cardozo) at 55.82 and Aliyah Taylor (Rancocas Valley, NJ) at 55.79. Don't expect it to be that clear cut, however, as Cheltenham brings Alexis Crosby at 54.62 and Bria Barnes at 56.31.
The most interesting entry has to be Olivia Arizin (Cardinal O'Hara, PA), who is dropping down in distance. Better known for her 2:06.80 in the 800m event, her speed at half the distance will be something to watch out for.
