Shane Palmer (Ridgefield) took the trials and finals of the 55m field, in a relaxed mark.
300m - 33.85 - US #4
Kyree Johnson (Huntington) ran away from the field, to pull out a new State Leading mark. He's also the first New Yorker to dip under 34 in 2017. That makes him #9 All-Time for the State, as well as the second fastest Long Islander of All-Time.
600m - 1:21.35 - US #1
Lawrence Leake (Huntington) held off a talented field, to clock the fastest mark of the year. He is now one of four athletes in the entire country to dip under 1:22 in the event.
1000m - 2:31.29 - US #4
Chris Tibbets (Sachem North) fought every step of the way for that perfect 1000m race. His mark pushes him into the favorite position for the State Meet, although there will be quite a few contenders on the line.
