The Trailer: Corning piled up the wins all year and was the States Class A champ, while the only meet at which Liverpool was tops was the Section 3 qualifier. But at the end of the season, the Warriors were repeating as the top team in the state due to their 9th place finish at NXN Nationals behind a powerful senior trio of Steve Schulz, States and NXN-NY champ Ty Brownlow, and Josh Hickmott. Fayetteville-Manlius was not at States but took the #2 spot ahead of Corning due to a top finish at NXN-NY. Warwick Valley was the top Class A team at the Federation meet and placed 2nd at States, earning the Wildcats the #4 spot ahead of a Saratoga team that was one place better at NXN-NY. After a 5th place at States, Smithtown capped off a surprising year with a strong NXN-NY performance to claim the #6 spot, and Ithaca appeared to have the best trail cred for the #7 spot.
