New York College Runners Go for 2016 Nationals


NCAA D3 - Regionals Wrap-up

Men

Summary: SUNY Geneseo once again took the Atlantic regional with Isaac Garcia-Cassani repeating in 1st, Alfredo Mazzuca and Alex Burks in the top 10, and the Blue Knights once again placed 5 guys in the top 20 and put 7 NY alumni in Nationals. SUNY Oneonta and St. Lawrence provided the bulk of the rest of the 21 NY guys going to Nationals out of the Atlantic regional, but Ithaca's Sean Phillips and Union's Justin Zorn earned at-large spots. MIT's Matt Deyo was the the top NY guy in the New England regional with a 2nd, and Amherst's Craig and Scott Nelson earned places there with their 3rd place squad. Haverford's Henry Woods was the top NY guy in the Mideast regional for 1st place Haverford, and out in the Great Lakes regional, John Hughes again earned the ticket to Nationals with 2nd place Allegheny.
