Summary: |
Benjamin Cardozo is a big favorite here with a squad that is projected to total only 16 to 18 points after its top 4 cross the line, so reigning champ Brooklyn Tech will need to hope that they and the other teams pack a lot of places into the results before the Judges' fifth runner crosses the line. That could happen, though if last year's results are any indication, Cardozo would still finish with about 60 points, and Brooklyn Tech would need a big boost on Saturday to close the gap. McKee Tech, Stuyvesant, and Susan Wagner all have some runners near the top, but the issue will be whether they have the depth to make a run at a title. One wrinkle here is that last year's PSAL Individual race champ Vivien Liell is on a New Dorp team that is much more competitive this year and looks like it did well enough to get into the Championship race. |
