New York Girls State XC Rankings Week 4

The Trailer:  As with Class D, a majority or the teams in C were resting last week, and those that did run generally saw their speed ratings dive, often in part because top runners were absent after a big performance the week before at McQuaid. Kaitlyn Ryan was again running for Bronxville in the Manhattan E race to put the Broncos back on top in the speed ratings, but a 62nd place in the Manhattan merge was not enough to move them back into the top spot ahead of Convent of the Sacred Heart. Poly Prep was the one Class C team that had an unexpectedly strong showing at Manhattan after a 76th place in the merge to enter the rankings at #15. Cazenovia distinguished itself reasonably well while winning at Cato-Meridian, and the Lakers moved to the #17 spot.
