Section 5 was mostly quite this past weekend with only a handful of schools going to an out-of-town invitational.
The McDaniel-Baxter Invitational (Pre-States) showcased a few Section 5 schools and a number of their runners turned in some excellent performances. The sophomore boys and senior girls' leaderboards changed the most after this past weekend with a handful of their top-20 runners earning new PR's. Below are links to the top runners in each grade for both genders.
We should see big changes to the leaderboards next weekend after the McQuaid Invitational, where nearly 200 schools participated last year.
