The second boys race of the day keeps the drama coming, with several athletes in the near vicinity.  Leading the pack is Connor Doran of Lockport, the race's top returner from the State Meet last year.   He's twice been over 170 for speed ratings this season, and is looking to make All-State come November.  Racing alongside Doran in Class A is Skyler Lattuca, making the trip from Longwood.  Lattuca has been a strong surprise in 2016, and could be rounding into form at the right time to challenge for the lead.

The action doesn't only come from Class A.  Alongside being the team favorites, East Aurora will be represented out from by Ian Russ.  He's had strong performances over the last year, and will be continuing the trend.  Caleb Moore of Seton Catholic (Sec. 7) is another name looking to take a big win, and will be in the hunt.  Matt Karee (Elmira Notre Dame) is the local name to watch for here, but will need to crack 170 for the first time this season to be in contention.

There are a couple question marks as well, caused by the double entry of certain teams.  Tim Euler of East Meadow would be an instant factor depending on which race he chooses to run in.  Lake Placid and Maine-Endwell are both doubled entered as well (look at Race 1 for further details)

There is no doubt that East Aurora is the favorite here.  They'll be getting their first big run against some larger squads, and the merge will be ever important.  They're currently ranked 6th in Class B, and could move well up with a big performance here.
