| The
Gators appear to be the surest bet among the various NY conference
favorites, although they do have one spot to fill in the top 5 with the
departure of Olivia Jaenicke. Sydney Rice and Keiana Mitchell give ND a
big 1-2 punch at the top, and Jackie Thompson and Lauren Pitaressi
appear set to again provide strength in the middle in the bid for a
third straight CHSAA title. But to maintain their position in the top 10
of the state Class B rankings, the Gators will have get more strength
at the back, which may well come from 2:18 800m runner Ariella Garcia. |
