Meet Record Ben Petrella himself
claimed he came into the race with much expectations. He knew the
seeds of the rest of the field, and had been outkicked by Noah Affolder at
the qualifier. Well, relying on his coaches training, he found an
extra gear to hold off that surge at the State Meet, lowering the meet
record in the process. and moving Petrella into the NY Top 10 all-time.
